Students can register to attend in-person or they can take the course in the Learning Centre, which is an asynchronous learning environment with individual support.
Unit Assignments, Laboratory Reports and Unit Tests (take home and in-class supervised)
Calculus 12 offers students an opportunity to learn advanced concepts in mathematics while developing their ability to generalize relationships through abstract thinking. This class provides authentic learning experiences as our students discover the meaning and connections between the many branches of mathematics and how they connect to other disciplines.
The following concepts will be covered in the course:
- limits and their properties
- applications of differentiation
- logarithmic, exponential and other transcendental
- differential equations
- applications of integration
- integration techniques
