Students can take the course in the Learning Centre, which is an asynchronous learning environment with individual support.

Unit Assignments and Unit Tests (take home and in-class supervised).

Description

Accounting 11 offers students an opportunity to study the role of accounting in business and gain an understanding of the accounting cycle and principles.

The following concepts will be covered in the course:

  • accounting and business
  • the balance sheet
  • analyzing changes in financial position
  • the simple ledger
  • the expanded ledger
  • the journal and source documents
  • posting
  • the work sheet and formal financial statements
  • completing the accounting cycle
  • subsidiary ledger accounting

Completion Opportunities
